Nishi Fukuoka Christian Church

Nishi Fukuoka Christian Church began as a home church in 1995. At that time it was called Shimoyamato Christian Church. Step-by-step the church grew through door-to-door evangelism, tract distribution, friendship evangelism, and personal Bible studies. After outgrowing the apartment in which it was meeting, a house which could be rented and used as a church building was located in 2001. The church moved into the new location and the name was changed to Nishi Fukuoka Christian Church. A Japanese national pastor was assigned to the church the same year. In October of 2006 the church purchased a piece of property and building and moved to it's current location (pictured above).

Fukuoka Christian Fellowship

The pioneer evangelism outreach on the east side of Fukuoka began in 1989. Contacts were made through one-on-one evangelism, Bible studies, friendship evangelism, children and ladies meetings, and various other outreaches. After four years of meeting in an apartment, land was purchased and a church building was constructed in l993. At that time it was turned over to the leadership of a Japanese national pastor.
